My name is Hedy Gurtner and I am the owner and operator of Hedy's Pet Sitting. I provide high quality, professional pet sitting services to the Mid Columbia River Gorge Area, Oregon and Washington side.

As a life-long pet owner who always tried to use pet sitters as opposed to kennels, I understand first-hand the benefits of leaving your animals in their own comfort zone. I also appreciate the level of trust you place in the person who cares for your pets and home. I have extensive experience in caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, rabbits, goats, alpacas and horses.

I take great pride in building lasting relationships  with the animals I look after, as well as with their owners. My clients appreciate my attention to detail and extraordinary care for their most precious possessions. You can leave home with absolute peace of mind that everything will be taken care of, beyond all expectations.

As a veterinary technician I am experienced in high-needs pets who might need like sub-Q fluids daily and/or are diabetic in need of insulin injections. I also practice Positive Motivational Dog Training, Tellington Touch, and Natural Horsemanship.

At the moment our family consists of two wonderful cats (Gwitterkiste, Eule), two fantastic dogs Gumpi (Bernese Mountain Dog) and Kima (Great Pyrenese mix.), two cockatiels (Johnny and Sunshine) and two adorable horses Felix (Quarter horse) and Abahachi (Paint). They live on a five acres property three miles out of Mosier, OR. They also own my husband Andy whose connections with animals is absolutely amazing - even though he has no clue how he does it!
